Senior Infants Baking

February 9, 2024

Senior Infants have been having lots of fun learning about all things baking this month! They’ve been whipping up all sorts of tasty treats in the role-play and playdough areas in the classroom, and have learned lots of new vocabulary in Gaeilge – their favourite is pancóga!

The boys and girls all worked together to bake cupcakes. They cracked the eggs, measured the ingredients, sieved the flour and mixed it all together. They even built some amazing towers out of their cupcake cases!

They then used icing sugar and sprinkles to decorate their very own cupcake and were very excited to get to eat them at lunchtime!
