Welcome to St. Joseph’s Co-ed. Primary School, East Wall. St. Joseph’s Co-ed. plays a very key role within the community of East Wall. Great grandparents, grandparents and parents of our current school pupils, have attended our school over the years. We are an inclusive school, which celebrates difference. Our school motto of ‘Ní neart go cur le chéile’ is embedded within our school’s culture. We promote ‘Confidence, Acceptance, Respect and Effort’ in all aspects of teaching and learning in the school. Our Reception Class, open to pupils at age four, is a unique offering from our school. Our youngest pupils have the opportunity to develop and nurture their soft skills of care, empathy and collaboration using the Aistear curriculum framework. Our school’s mission and vision conveys the importance of taking on board the opinions of school staff, parents/guardians and pupils, in order to enhance the learning experiences and overall wellbeing of pupils and staff. About Our School

Our school first opened its doors to the children of this community in 1959, and since then has been consistent in providing an excellent standard of education to the youth of the area.
We here at St. Joseph’s believe in providing a child-centred and holistic education which will equip the pupils of our school with the skills and attitudes necessary to survive and achieve in the fast paced world that is modern life.
St. Joseph’s is a wonderful, colourful school that both teachers and students are proud to be a part of. Though situated on the fringes of East Wall, it is at the heart of this vibrant community.
