Term 2 in Junior Infants

April 11, 2025

This term in Junior infants, we have been enjoying art, especially painting! We learned about artists Wassily Kandinsky and Yayoi Kusama and created our own Kandinsky and Kusama-inspired pieces of art. We also created love hearts for Valentine’s Day and shamrock collages for St Patrick’s Day.

During the first week of March, we had great fun during Book Week. We loved having some of the other teachers in the school visit our classroom to read us different stories. On Friday, we celebrated World Book Day by dressing up as some of our favorite book characters and drawing pictures of our favorite books.

Benji, our class teddy bear, has been on many adventures with a different classmate each weekend. Hearing about what he gets up to is one of our favourite moments every Monday.
