March in Reception Room 1

Room 1 caught the leprechaun!
There was a leprechaun loose in Room 1! For St Patrick’s Day, Reception learnt all about what it takes to catch a leprechaun. We built traps out of chains, we drew pictures of things leprechauns like to lure the leprechaun into the trap, and we built cages from blocks to hold
the leprechaun once he was caught.
All the hard work paid off, as the leprechaun was caught in the net by the time we returned from yard!
We had so much fun working together, and we all had a fantastic St Patrick’s Day. The children decided the leprechaun should live in our classroom from now on, so long as he doesn’t play any more tricks!
