October in Junior Infants

October 30, 2024

We’ve had a very busy and fun start to Junior Infants. During October we have been practising our cutting and sticking skills and pencil control. We have also been doing lots of art and play. Our role-play area was transformed into a costume shop this month and we have all been enjoying playing shopkeeper and customer in this area and dressing up in all the costumes.

A few weeks ago we were surprised by a new member of our class, Benji our class teddy bear. Benji has been enjoying watching us learn each day. Every Friday one of us is chosen to take Benji home for the weekend. We’re all always very excited on Mondays to hear about what everyone gets up to with Benji during their weekend. He is having a wonderful time with all of the children!
