Infants’ Christmas Play

December 20, 2022
We have been very busy in Junior Infants over the past few weeks preparing for our Christmas play ‘Whoops A Daisy Angel’. Reception, Junior Infants and Senior Infants all worked together to put on this play for our parents and guardians. We loved learning all the songs and actions. It was so much fun getting to dress up in our costumes. We really enjoyed performing this play for an audience of parents and guardians three days in a row last week!! Ms. McCarthy, Ms. Casey, Ms. Walsh, Mr. Heneghan and all of our parents/guardians were so proud of us.
Here is the poster that we used as the backdrop for our show. Our SNA Áine and some children in 5th Class helped to create this. All of Junior Infants coloured the beautiful stars for the backdrop, Ms. Casey even painted some!!

Here are some of Junior Infants after our final performance of ‘Whoops A Daisy Angel last Friday. We were so tired but we still had energy to pose for some pictures underneath our beautiful Christmas art!!
We had a lovely treat on Friday as after our performance we went to see Santa in the local recreation centre. Junior Infants wish you all a very Happy Christmas!!!
