Book Week 2025

March 14, 2025

We celebrated Book Week 2025 in the school last week. We had a fantastic week, filled with lots of fun and exciting activities related to books! The week started with a visit from storyteller, Aisling Breen. The classes got to engage in activities that involved interesting discussions, listening to stories and writing their own stories. A huge favourite every year with the children and staff is our Teacher Swap. There was huge excitement as teachers got the opportunity to visit different classes throughout the week and share stories with the children. Paired Reading is always another popular activity during Book Week. Older classes were paired with younger classes. They visited each other throughout the week and the children read to each other. Huge congratulations to the children that received an award from their teacher for their efforts during Book Week. Character Dress-Up Day was the most amazing end to our week. Our school was filled with lots and lots of characters from books!!!
