Amazing Art from Senior Infants!

October 18, 2022

By Will

In Senior Infants, we love being creative during our Visual Arts lessons. In September, we learned all about Andy Warhol and his artwork. We noticed that he loved patterns, bright colours
and repeated images in his artwork. Therefore, when we were learning all about Autumn, we designed our very own “pop art leaves” inspired by Warhol.

We have also been learning about patterns in Maths and reading stories about patterns too. We loved the book “Elmer” and noticed that Elmer and his friends had lots of patterns unlike normal elephants. Therefore, we designed our very own Elmer Elephants using coloured squares!

Finally, we have really mastered the skill of cutting and sticking in Senior Infants and we have really improved on cutting around different shapes. Have a look at our amazing Skeletons we made for Halloween!

We hope you like our artwork and notice that everyone’s work is unique in its own way
